Former President Barack Obama is back with his beats, this time summing up his favorite tunes of 2022. The 61-year-old former head of state is known for loving up-to-date tunes and plenty of hip-hop, and his sum-up list this year showed that he's keeping up with new artists - as well as loving the old ones.

Barack named 25 tracks that he is happy to listen to all day long. Definitely showing his new-gen side, the husband to Michelle Obama went for Bad Bunny's Titi Me Pregunto, plus Rosalia's Saoko. He also gave a nod to former Destiny's Child singer and R&B queen Beyonce's 2022-released Break My Soul.

Lizzo's On There!

Also mentioned was artist and flutist Lizzo - her viral About Damn Time earned a spot on Barack's list. Add on SZA and Plains, plus Omar Apollo, and there's plenty of variety. Obama is also a fan of Plains' Problem With It and Sudan Archives' Home Maker.

A Little 'Rush'

The popular politician and Nobel Prize winner is also totally up for Maggie Rogers and NXWorries, plus Koffe's Pull Up track. He'd made headlines last year for summing up his 2021 tracks - once again, there were plenty of recognizable names.

Barack Obama's 2021 Playlist

Last year's beats once again featured Lizzo - this time, though, it was the Yitty founder's Rumors collab with hard-hitting rapper, Cardi B. 2021 also included Lil Nas X, plus legend Lauryn Hill's Nobody. Of course, there was some old-school hip-hop with artist Nas.

A Special Holiday Greeting

While celebrities this year largely sent out a generic holiday or Christmas greeting, Barack Obama took things to Africa.

"Michelle and I send our best wishes to families celebrating Kwanzaa this holiday season. Today begins a week-long celebration of African-American heritage and culture. As folks gather to light the Kinara, we hope you have a happy Kwanzaa," he wrote on Instagram.

Fans Honoring Him

Quick to reply was a user writing: "We honor you as one of our favorite Presidents. Miss your eloquent speech and your caring for humanity."

The GOAT?

Earlier this year, an NBC poll found that Barack was one of the most popular public figures of all time - 51% of voters stated having a positive view of him.

More Popular Than...

The poll found a higher favor with Obama than with Elon Musk, Joe Biden, or Mark Zuckerberg. The Hawaii-born former POTUS was President from January 2009 to January 2017l.
