Nick Cannon is celebrating the birth of his 12th child. The Masked Singer host already had his hands full with eleven children, but there's always room for more. On December 14, Nick and model Alyssa Scott welcomed a new bundle of joy - it's their second baby together. Nick's girlfriend took to Instagram earlier today to mark the arrival of baby Halo Marie Cannon, a girl. The arrival comes after a tragic loss, though. One year ago, Nick and Alyssa lost their son Zen who died aged 5 months. For today, though, it's only good vibes and likely plenty of diapers and clothes!

Alyssa's video touched on the loss of Zen.
"December 14, 2022. Our lives are forever changed ❤️," she wrote. "Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning. I know he is watching down on us. He shows me signs every day. I will hold onto this memory forever."
As footage portrayed both the mourning process of Zen and the arrival of new girl Halo, Alyssa added, "I will hold onto this memory forever. I will remember the sound of Nick's voice saying “it’s a girl” and the look of everything we’ve been through flash across his face."

Alyssa, first linked to Nick in May 2021 and when she shared a pregnancy announcement on Instagram, also said that she'll never forget the sound of her baby's tears and the feel of the first breath she took. Likewise, her heartbeat. That said, there is a "surprise."
"We love you Halo Marie Cannon!" the caption concluded. Zen was born on June 23, 2021 and died from brain cancer at only 5 months. Scott said that it had been both an "honor" and a "privilege" to mother Zen during that brief time.
