George and Amal Clooney tied the knot on September 27, 2014, at Ca' Farsetti, a palace in Venice. They welcomed twins Ella and Alexander, in June 2017. On the day of the birth, George Clooney through his publicist provided an update on the mother and the children. However, since then both George and Amal have hardly ever mentioned their kids in any of the interviews that they have done together or separately.

61-year-old Geroge Clooney and 44-year-old Amal Clooney are first-time parents. For the Batman & Robin star, having children is not something he necessarily envisaged. In an interview, he said, "I didn't know that we'd have kids. There was an assumption that we didn't want children. And then, after the wedding, Amal and I were talking, and we just felt we'd gotten very lucky, both of us, and we should share whatever good luck we've got. It would seem self-centered to just have that belong to us.”
