Kim Kardashian may be a reality TV star and beauty mogul with a billion-dollar net worth, but that doesn’t mean she does not experience the same troubles normal moms do.

The 42-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum is mother to four kids with ex-husband Kanye West – North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, who are all under 10. And apparently, despite being one of the biggest and busiest stars in the industry, she is super hands-on and deals with all the challenges like any regular parent.

Keep scrolling to read some of her quotes that prove, when it comes to motherhood, she’s not that different from the rest of us.

Difficulties Of Coparenting

Kardashian recently opened up about how difficult it was to co-parent with West on an episode of the Angie Martinez IRL podcast.

“I am holding on by a thread,” she said (via Us Weekly). “I know that I am so close to that not happening, but while it is still that way, I will protect that to the end of the Earth as long as I can.”

Referring to West’s controversial social media behavior, she added, “My kids don't know anything.”

Post-Baby Body Blues

After the SKKN founder gave birth to North in 2013, she was “embarrassed to go to the gym” so she exercised in her mother’s garage instead.

“It was literally probably 115 degrees in Calabasas in the summertime,” she said on an episode of the We Are Supported By... podcast. “I'd have my daughter in a stroller, and I'd sit her in there and just work out in the garage and try to do anything I could.”

Cutting Out 'The Extra Stuff'

Kardashian may look like a social butterfly but between her family and law school, she’s had to make major adjustments to her schedule.

“I just had to cut out a lot of all the extra stuff that I was doing and the friends [I had],” she told Us. “I'm best friends with all my friends I've been friends with forever, but they understand. They know I just don't go to all these events anymore, the movies. I don't do that extra stuff, and that's OK for me.”

Overwhelmed

After giving birth to Saint in 2015, the SKIMS mogul admitted to feeling overwhelmed.

“My mom would always say about having kids, 'One is like one, and two are like 20.' I never really understood that until now,” she said. “When I had North, all I did was feed and sleep. This time around, I get no sleep. Every waking second that I'm not with the baby, I'm with North.”
