Elon Musk's taking over the reins of Twitter as a company has been one social media disaster after the other, but he might lose his seat to Snoop Dogg. Most Twitter users clarified from the jump that they didn't appreciate Musk swooping in to transform their favorite app in its weakest moment.

Although the billionaire made it clear that it was a business move, his fumbles in the last month with testing new features and unsuspending and suspending some accounts for doxing him have solidified the internet's opinion that he's not fit to run the company.

Battle Of The Polls

So, Musk made a Twitter poll saying he promises to abide by its rules and asked the app's users to choose whether he should keep running it or step down. He lost the poll by a close shave at 57.5 to 42.5 percent of 17,502,391 votes!

Musk also promised to abide by the results which motivated many users to input their opinions via the Yes/No poll.

Within a few hours, famous rapper and owner of Death Row Records Snoop Dogg ran a copycat poll asking, "Should I run Twitter?" He won by a landslide at 81 to 19 percent of 3,298,119 votes.

Musk Was Only Trolling (Or Was He?)

In the numbers game, we know Snoop's votes don't compare to Musk's own because 57.5 percent of 17,502,391 million is still many more people than 81 percent of 3,398,119. To put it in perspective, 7,438,516.18 million people voted for Musk to stay at the helm of affairs.

That's more that the entire voters on Snoop's account.

Musk continued trolling (or not) with another tweet saying he would resign once he found a suitable replacement, a.k.a. "Someone stupid enough."

A New Update Every Other Day!

Since Musk became the CEO of Twitter, he's made several drastic changes to the app. Some include exposing people who paid for their blue verification checkmarks by notifying the public with a message pop-up on their account.

Distinguishing business entities from individuals with a new yellow checkmark to avoid confusion. He's taking things further with the new square box by the checkmark style for affiliated partners.

It's safe to say Tweeps aren't pleased with the "upgrades."

Can Snoop Dogg Run The Company?

Snoop Dogg has run his record label well and several other business ventures since 2009. He also has experience running a social app thanks to his Snoopify app that ran in the mid-2010s. However, running a multi-billion dollar company on a large scale isn't the same and may be beyond Snoop's league. After all, his counterpart, Musk, is learning that the hard way hence the successive updates.
