Check It Out For Yourself!

Screen Culture uploaded the trailer to YouTube, showing just what fans might expect from the film.

The film picks up after the events of 2009's Avatar. The first film follows Jake Sully (played by Sam Worthington), a human who travels to Pandora to aid in colonization efforts. He interacts with the Na'vi, who live on the planet, by piloting a genetically engineered member of their species remotely. Over the course of the film, he meets Neytiri (played by Zoe Saldana) and begins to adapt to their way of living. Jake eventually turns against the humans, and the film ends with him becoming a true Na'vi. In the sequel, Jake and Neytiri will have a family and encounter more conflict.

Several Cast Members Will Return For The Sequel.

Both Worthington and Saldana have returned to reprise their roles as Jake and Neytiri, respectively. Sigourney Weaver, who appeared in the first film as Dr. Grace Augustine, will return as a new character. She will provide the voice for Kiri, a teenage Na'vi adopted by Jake and Neytiri. Stephen Lang, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Giovanni Ribisi, and Dileep Rao will also be returning to reprise their respective roles.

In addition, new members of the cast include Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell, and Kate Winslet.

There Are Concerns That The Sequel Will Not Hold Up To Its Predecessor.
