Cats are one of the most dramatic creatures known to man.

Whether they are upset about their food bowl being low, discovering snow for the first time, or having to meet a new sibling, they aren't afraid to put on a show.

Their performances deserve all of the awards in the drama categories! Case in point: this cat who staged his own murder after his dinner was five minutes late.

Here Are the Nominees of the Most Dramatic Cat Award

Cat before and after going to vet
reddit | B-rry

We have this little cutie named Porkchop (how sweet is that name?!). His owner took pictures of him before and after going to the vet.

Clearly, you can see that his mood quickly shifted. He started off with curiosity at the start of his journey. He didn't know why he was in the car, but he was willing to comply.

And then, his owner snapped the second picture of him post-vet. You can see the betrayal in his eyes. That, or it's just the drugs starting to work their magic.

The Second Nominee Is...

Cat sitting angrily at the table
reddit | Matind

Some backstory is needed to explain why this cat looks like he wants to choke his owner out.

The owner explained on Reddit that he kicked over his cat's milk and had no replacement for it. So the cat sat opposite him while he ate his dinner and looked at him like this.

We can only imagine the string of thoughts in the cat's brain: "I hope you choke. That dinner looks like garbage anyway. I'm going to puke on the carpet later."

The Third Nominee Is...

Cat meeting baby for first time
reddit | Local306

This fang-tastic kitty was just introduced to his owner's newborn daughter. Yeah, doesn't look like it went quite well! The family will need to watch the kitty and make sure his plans of getting rid of the child don't work out!

At least he didn't puke, though. There was a recent viral story of a cat who literally vomited seconds after meeting her new baby sister.

The Final Nominee Is This Drama Queen

Cat staging own murder
reddit | u/goodiebenny

It was posted on Reddit by u/goodiebenny. It shows a black and white cat staging its own murder because dinner was five minutes late.

Judging by the reactions, this kitty wins the Most Dramatic Cat Award by a landslide!

"Very clever cat," one Redditor commented in reference to the cat framing his owner for murder. "The little furry traitor. "That's it, no catnip for you," another wrote.
