Kate Hudson is dishing all the winter skincare stuff just in time for the holiday season. The Bride Wars star, 43, regularly makes headlines for having flawless skin, and she's now opened up on what she uses and what she recommends as temperatures drop. In a new interview with Prevention, the daughter of Goldie Hawn revealed that she often turns to the simplest products - one such example includes extra-virgin olive oil, which clearly isn't just for salads. Kate actually also uses it on her skin. The star equally touched on gut health alongside revealing a love of largely high-end brands that included celebrity-adored La Mer.

On the whole olive-oil thing, Kate revealed that she turns her cooking sessions into beauty ones - kill two birds with one stone.

“For me, ya just drink it. Tablespoon, any kind of extra virgin olive oil. Even when I’m cooking, I know this sounds crazy, but I’ll put olive oil on my hands and I’ll use it and I’ll just wipe that on my face, and people are like??? But you’re supposed to eat it, and I’m like no, it goes everywhere," the actress stated.

Her Number One Beauty Tip

The A-Lister also offered up a simple skincare and beauty tip that costs very little and can actually be free, provided you're paying your water bill. She said that for her, "it's water," when asked for her top beauty tip. "If you are more hydrated, you won't feel so dry," she continued. The Fabletics partner here said that "it's all inside out for me."

Listing Her Products

Kate is a giant fan of La Mer's Moisturizing Cream, although that will set you back $200 a pop. She also uses Symbiome and here chooses The One restorative gel cream ($125) and The Answer serum ($200). The brand's The Renewal Daily Cleanser is more affordable at $60.

Gut Health Time

Kate is known for her fit physique and her regular workouts, and she also pays attention to what she eats.

"[I focus on] Gut health, gut health, gut health. Fermented foods! I eat fermented food every day…sauerkraut…kimchi,” she continued. Kate is also a fan of the skincare brand SK-II, a company fronted by Olympic gymnast Simone Biles. Also known for their glowing skin are stars including media face Maria Menounos, plus actresses Marisa Tomei, Salma Hayek, and Jennifer Aniston.
