Florence Pugh showed up looking divine to the 13th annual Governors Award held in LA. The English actress looked all shades of elegant in her Victoria Beckham dress straight from the designer’s recent spring 2023 collection.

Sheer dresses and show-stopping red-carpet moments aren’t strange to the 26-year-old. The only difference is that Pugh swapped out her typical Valentino for a British designer and it worked out superbly.

The Show-Stopping White Dress

The Don’t Worry Darling Star showed off her trim body in this silhouette dress with enough accessories to bring it to life. It had a mesh sheer fabric on the midriff and lower body designed with crystals and gold fringe highlights by the side. Another layer of smooth satin fabric rested on the front in a small cowl neck drape with the other end falling asymmetrically.

This satin material also served as a mini train adding a dash of elegance to this look. Victoria Beckham added a cute little bow tied at the back of the dress and Pugh gave it a grand finish with a statement gold necklace with small silver earrings as she let her hair lay back.

'See-Through' Florence Pugh

This actress isn’t one to shy away from daring looks such as the see-through looks she wore to the Valentino Summer runway show and Winter After-Party. Pugh wore a pink see-through Valentino dress leaving nothing to the imagination for the Spring/Summer The Beginning show causing lots of chatter online.

She didn't care though as she defended the look via Instagram saying,

"Listen, I knew when I wore that incredible Valentino dress that there was no way there wouldn’t be a commentary on it...What’s more concerning is... Why are you so scared of breasts? Small? Large? Left? Right? Only one? Maybe none?”

It's good to know these criticisms didn’t affect the star as Pugh went on to do it again in a sheer Rodarte dress at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

No 'Wilde' Moment On The Carpet

Pugh walked the red carpet alongside costar and Don't Worry Darling director Olivia Wilde, who recently split with her boyfriend of almost two years Harry Styles. Considering the rumored tensions between both women, it was good to see them in an uneventful sighting although there was no interaction to put the rumors to bed finally.

Moving On From Drama

The women allegedly didn’t get along when the cameras were off. At first, these rumors were never confirmed, but after the movie's release, Pugh expressed discomfort about the Styles and Wilde relationship on set.

Pugh has since moved on from the Don't Worry Darling drama as she's starred in the critically acclaimed Netflix movie, The Wonder, and would be in Dune Part 2.
