A recent game of hide-and-seek turned into a catastrophe!
What began as a game of light-hearted fun between a woman and her dog soon turned into chaos after her cat found her first.
Problem is, she found her in pretty much the worst way... this viral TikTok video is one you'll want to see.
Cloe Terare @chloeterare on TikTok proved that was the case when she played an innocent match of hide-and-seek with her dog, a Rotweiller named Midas.
Cloe decided to record a video of the game on her phone. The viral video showed her hiding in a pretty unsuspecting spot: underneath some blankets near the wall.
That's a fitting name for the cat, especially considering what happened next.
Out of nowhere, Lucifer, who had been sitting on a window sill above, dropped down right on Cloe's face. That's gotta hurt!
There were a lot of obscenities thrown, which is totally understandable. Cat claws hurt!
"I don't think Lucifer realized I was hiding," Terare told The Dodo.
After Cloe's swearing died down, she erupted into a fit of giggles over the whole ordeal. "I was crying with laughter," she said.
Midas, on the other hand, had rushed to make sure his owner was okay.
That would've been a lot better than what happened.
The hilarious ordeal was a hit on the internet, with hundreds commenting their reactions.
"The cat turned into a bouncy ball," one wrote. "Did the cat double stomp you?" added another.
"LMFAOOO i'm not sure who was more shocked, you or the cat," commended a third.
Many weren't surprised that the cat basically curb-stomped its owner. "As soon as the cat showed up on the counter i knew it was gonna cause trouble," a user wrote with laughing emojis.
Even though the whole thing was a disaster, it still looked pretty fun.
"This is what living alone is like…you and your pets literally start to become each other's besties lol," a user wrote.
Cloe agrees: "They were bouncing around as normal after that," she said. "[We] always play together," she told The Dodo.
