It appears Johnny Depp still got it, as Rihanna enlisted him as one of her models for the Savage X Fenty Volume 4 edition a couple of days ago, and he did well! This comes after his victory in court earlier this year. Depp, 59, acknowledged the Umbrella vocalist by uploading a video of his participation in the fashion presentation to his Instagram account on Wednesday.

It's official: Johnny is back!

Making An Effortless Return

The actor is making every effort to return to his life as an artist after recently winning a defamation case against Amber Heard in 2022. After winning the case, Depp and Jeff Beck embarked on a massive world tour with their rock and roll show. Additionally, Johnny started filming his upcoming role as King Louis XV.

Depp models clothing created by Rihanna's crew while listening to the OutKast song So Fresh, So Clean. He made a rare appearance in Rihanna's well-known 40-minute presentation, which is currently available on Amazon Prime Video. He is now moving on to the fashion industry.

It's odd to see Depp modeling with backing dancers in the background because he's never been a fan of exposing himself to the public in this way. However, Depp completed his ensemble with layered accessories while donning a dark green robe, matching slacks, and a patterned top with modest buttons.

Finding His Feet Back In The Industry

Despite winning his defamation case against Amber Heard, the Hollywood Vampires musician is still contentious in the entertainment industry. Last week, a leak about Depp's appearance caused major criticism. The actor Olly Alexander, who worked with Savage X Fenty on a social media campaign earlier this year,  said he "won't be wearing" the company's clothing line any longer. Others did the same, with some supporters hoping he wouldn't make the cut.

Fans of Depp were understandably thrilled to hear that the actor had been added to the list. This is the actor's most notable appearance since the trial.

Where It All Started

During their five-year relationship, Heard openly accused Depp of abusing her physically and sexually. However, a Virginia jury found that he never once abused her. Heard won one of her three counts in June when the jury determined that Depp's attorney had slandered her. The verdict went against a 2020 judgment in London where a judge found that Depp had mistreated his ex-wife to be "basically accurate." For various reasons, Heard and Depp have both appealed the ruling.

Moving On

Despite rumors that they were dating, Johnny Depp and his attorney Joelle Rich moved on quite swiftly after the trial. Still, the confirmation only comes after the trial. They have been openly spotted together a couple of times and still going strong, as they were recently spotted attending the actor's concert in Las Vegas. Rich took a plane to the US to see Depp perform at Palm's Pearl Theater, where onlookers noticed her keeping an eye on her beau from the side of the stage.
