Sarah Jessica Parker had to miss a series of events on Wednesday night due to a "family emergency" as reported by ET.

As fans of the cult-classic Halloween movie Hocus Pocus know, the film just recently premiered its highly anticipated sequel. Sadly, SJP was unable to attend the global virtual press conference for the new film due to what her rep is calling a "family emergency."

Earlier this week, Sarah Jessica Parker was out and about promoting her highly anticipated film, "Hocus Pocus 2."

The And Just Like That star was photographed at the film's premiere in New York City on Tuesday with her hubby, Matthew Broderick, and their 13-year-old twin daughters, Tabitha and Marion.

The film, which hits Disney+ this Friday, sounds like it was a real thrill for SJP to make.

"The easy part is just being back among this group, and getting to tell another chapter in the story, and working with Anne [Fletcher] and the great musical department, and getting to sing again and flying -- flying, flying, flying, flying," she told ET at the NYC premiere.

On Wednesday night, the 57-year-old was forced to skip several high-profile events due to a "family emergency."

ET confirmed Sarah pulled out of the global virtual press conference for a highly anticipated sequel, and also did not attend the New York Ballet 2022 Fall Fashion Gala at Lincoln Center.

As fans of SJP know, the fashion icon ALWAYS attended the New York Ballet Fall Fashion Gala, and was even rumored to be honored Wednesday night.

A source told Page Six that moments after the Sex and the City alum arrived at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center, she left.

The outlet reports that it was announced on stage that the actress left because of a "sudden devastating family situation."

We're thinking of SJP, and her family, during this time.

I just hope everything is okay!
