All eyes were on the newly appointed Princess of Wales on Tuesday as she and her husband Prince William made their first visit to the country since inheriting their new titles. As we know, Kate Middleton is all about meaningful details in her outfits, and this significant visit was no exception.

In fact, fans quickly noticed a sweet homage to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.

On Tuesday, the newly appointed Prince and Princess of Wales made their first official visit to the country as the new titleholders.

The pair spent hours greeting fans, shaking hands, and visiting the St Thomas Church in Swansea, which has been has been redeveloped to provide support to the community's most vulnerable.

Princess Catherine looked stunning in her long red coat, sleek hairstyle, and black handbag with gold detailing.

As soon as fans saw the Princess of Wales, they immediacy thought back to the previous title holder, Lady Diana, on her first official trip to Wales as their Princess.

In 1981, the young Princess made her first visit to Wales and was welcomed warmly by the community.

Her red coat and hat were standout pieces that every Royal fan remembers when they recall this historic visit.

However, Kate's look is more meaningful than meets the eye.

As reported by Page Six, the coat Kate was wearing was called the L.K. Bennett "Spencer" coat — a tribute to her late mother-in-law, Lady Diana Spencer, of course.

This is just another example of Royal outfits always being so well thought out and meaningful — I love it!
