Only days after Queen Elizabeth II's passing, we've started to see some amazing things within the royal family, including a reunion many never thought would happen.

Brothers William and Harry, alongside their wives, were seen outside Windsor Castle together as they stopped to pay respects to their grandmother as well as greet the crowd who'd lined up to do the same.

King Charles III's sons and their wives have reunited.

Prince William and Kate Middleton, now Prince and Princess of Wales, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, were met with applause when they were spotted by the gates of Windsor Castle together.

A Kensington Palace source says William personally invited the Sussexes.

Many are taking this as a precursor to William attempting to repair the relationship between himself and his brother, as well as their relationship with the royal family as a whole.

Friend of the Sussexes and journalist Omid Scobi said, "It is, without a doubt, a significant moment in the history of the relationship between the two brothers."

It's the first time the two couples have seen each other in over two years.

The last time all four made a public appearance together was Commonwealth Day on March 9, 2020.

The crowd loved it too, as many waved to all four of them, a few were even able to speak to them and give their condolences.

Fans of the family seem to be well on board.

"Lovely ripple went through the crowd as they approached," someone who was in attendance told MailOnline, "Hopefully the healing between Harry and his brother can start now. I'm just so excited to have seen them both together. It's lovely."

"It might build some bridges," said another, "It might have been the Queen's wish."
