Traveling and going on airplanes is something that people do regularly when they want to travel, visit friends and family, or when they are moving.

There are tons of things that people know about flying—what to do and what to avoid. However, there is only one group of people who know more than frequent flyers and those are the flight attendants.

Flight attendants are the ones who know everything about planes and flying.

As they spend their lives serving and working on planes, they know all the secrets of flying life. They know the good, the bad, the ugly, and the dirty of course.

One flight attendant, known as "Flight Bae B," shares tons of tips and secrets on her TikTok account.

Of course, everyone would automatically assume that the airplane bathroom would be the dirtiest on the airplane because everyone is using the same one. However, it's actually not.

The flight attendant shared that the dirtiest part of planes happens to be the pocket behind plane seats.

All of those pockets with the Sky Mall magazines and other things that you never truly look at—they happen to be the dirtiest part of the plane.

The reason is that they "never get cleaned."

Flight Bae B said the reason that they are the dirtiest is that people on planes will throw a ton of garbage in there. They throw in wrappers, tissues, napkins—everything. And, they never get cleaned.

In fact, the people who clean the plane just take out the garbage and that's it.

People will go into the pockets and take out the garbage that's in there, and then just fix up the magazines. They don't get truly cleaned or sanitized.

There are a select few times that the pockets are cleaned, however.

The flight attendant said that they will get cleaned out if someone vomits and it gets into the pocket or if there is something "ooey and gooey" inside of the pocket.

Otherwise, it's a surefire no-go on the clean.

All of the germs and the bacteria from other passengers stay inside of the pockets because they are not thoroughly washed out or wiped down, they just get a quick "garbage patrol."

On the other hand, bathrooms and tray tables, which people assume are dirty, get cleaned regularly.

While the bathrooms are dirty and the tray tables see a fair share of germs, they are cleaned and sanitized every time the plane is landed and changed over.

The flight attendant also says, no matter what, never go barefoot on a flight.

On those long flights you may think that taking your shoes off may be super comfy and good, but in the end, she said she would "never ever" take her shoes off and go barefoot on a flight.

After nine years, Flight Bae B knows her stuff.
