Game of Thrones fans can rejoice! House of the Dragon has already been renewed for season 2. I can't imagine this comes as a great shock to anyone, as the show, which premiered on August 21st, achieved historic records on HBO.
The first episode has been seen by over 20 million viewers, at the time of this writing.
Based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood novel, the show takes place 200 years before Game of Thrones and focuses on House Targaryen. It has a star-studded cast, and already has received praise from both fans and critics online.
I'm just as obsessed with it as everyone else is, to be quite honest. I can't wait to see where the show goes, and I know that fans agree with me!
