Ashton Kutcher Is Not Interested In Revisiting 'Punk'd'

One of the highlights of the mid-'00s was being able to throw on MTV and watch Ashton Kutcher prank the rich and famous on his show Punk'd.

A beloved nostalgic series full of plenty of laughs and Hollywood stars, some fans have requested its return a request that Kutcher has politely declined as he much prefers having friends now.

One of Ashton Kutcher's most famous 'roles' was as the host of 'Punk'd'.

In fact, he helped create the show alongside producer Jason Goldberg. Punk'd ran on MTV from 2003 to 2007, and centered Kutcher pulling pranks on various celebrity guests.

While it was probably a fun time, and he still enjoys pranks to this day.

In an interview with Insider, he said that he "always wants to prank someone", but hasn't had the opportunity to in recent months.

The set of his most recent film, 'Vengeance', wasn't really prank-appropriate.

"We didn't have time. This was like the first thing back from COVID," he explained, "It was really weird because I didn't know what the rules were. And so... it wasn't very prank-y."

Just because he misses pranks, doesn't mean he'd go back to 'Punk'd' full-time.

He prefers people trusting him.

According to People, he said, "I have friends again. For a long time, I would go out and like nobody would want to hang out. They were like, 'I am not messing with him.' It's nice to have friends."
