On Tuesday night, TMZ reported that drummer Travis Barker was being taken into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. On Wednesday, fans anxiously waited for an update on the musician's condition before sources revealed what reportedly caused the 46-year-old to end up in the hospital. As per TMZ, the Blink-182 drummer is suffering from pancreatitis.
Now, a new source is coming forward giving fans an insight into how Travis' wife, Kourtney Kardashian, is dealing with the health scare.
The star was taken to a hospital in L.A. by ambulance with his new wife Kourtney Kardashian by his side as he arrived at the local facility West Hills.
After arriving at the local hospital, however, it seemed the 46-year-old's condition was serious enough for him to be transferred to Cedars Sinai Medical Center.
"Please say a prayer," she captioned the photo, which shows her holding her father's hand and using a heart emoji to cover the private information on his hospital band.
TMZ reported that the drummer was hospitalized for pancreatitis, which doctors believe was triggered after he underwent a recent colonoscopy.
Soon after TMZ broke the news, a source spoke to "ET" to give their own report on what happened.
"After speaking with Travis and running several tests, doctors said Travis is suffering from pancreatitis.”
A source spoke with People saying "Kourtney won't leave his side. Kourtney was worried yesterday. They both were. Travis was suffering from extreme stomach pain and could barely walk."
