When we work somewhere for a good chunk of time, showing loyalty and diligence, we're right to believe that we ought to be properly rewarded for that.

A celebrity showed off their generosity recently when they caught wind of a man who'd been shafted by the company he worked at for over 25 years. To make up for the disrespect shown to that worker, he stepped in with his own gift.

Last week, a Burger King employee went viral.

Kevin Ford has worked at Burger King for over 27 years, and received a gift bag from the company that hired him, HMS Host, containing a rather pathetic array of 'gifts' like a lanyard, a two pens, and some candy.

For remained grateful throughout the video.

However, the internet got angry on his behalf, sharing his story and how they believe he deserves so much more for how many years he's dedicated to that company and how loyal he's been.

After gaining so much attention, he decided to start a GoFundMe which, as of writing, has raised almost $110,000.

A portion of that comes from an unlikely source.

Actor and comedian David Spade publically donated $5000 to the fund. When Ford saw the generous donation, he checked social media and saw that Spade had reached out to him in his Instagram DMs.

"Keep up the good work," Spade wrote, "27 yrs." (sic)

Ford was astounded, and he let his reply show it. “HOLY [expletive] dude!!! Cannot Believe This!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! For even Watching the Video! I Love You My Brother!!! Much Love and God Bless... I think might be able to take a Day Off...” (sic).

Spade, being the joker he is, replied, "Wait till year 30."

“Damn, Are You One Of My Managers???” Ford joked right back, “Thank You Again Sir, Your the Best, Have A Great Day...” (sic).

It's a heartwarming gesture from a celebrity who saw someone being treated unfairly and wanted to help, doing so extremely generously!
