Kids are great. They help to remind us what it's like to be young and innocent and help us to slow down and experience the world through their eyes.

However, as sweet as they can be, kids also have a darker, much more terrifying side to them that is seldom explored. To see what I mean, have a look below and check out these 15 very weird things that children have done.

Kids with no sense of personal space really creep me out.

I see a blonde doll and I want it painted black...

I feel like this is the type of thing you'd see adorning a serial killer's bedroom walls. The fact that the doll is smiling makes it all the worse.

MRI and X-ray technicians must have the most terrifying nightmares. If I had to look at images such as this all day, I'd need to be fitted for a straight jacket.

Somebody needs to call Buzz Lightyear right away.

I know that kids will be kids, but if it was me, I'd want to keep an eye on this kind of behavior. I'm also curious as to how long poor old Woody was tied up?

It looks a lot more sinister than it actually is supposed to.

Supposedly, this picture was supposed to be of a family snorkeling trip — not a grisly mass murder/suicide depiction. The more I look at it, the more it terrifies me.

This was the face mark left by a 4-year-old after he'd been crying into a blanket.

If it were me, I'd have taken that blanket out to the backyard, thrown it in the fire pit, and incinerated it. I don't need that kind of bad juju in my home.

I don't think your child is going to grow up and be an artist.

I can't say for certain, but I'm almost positive that this child's mother wouldn't appreciate being made to look like some kind of creepy old Halloween decoration.

It's official — I'm never sleeping again. This looks just like the picture that the kid in The Babadook drew right before the monster came and tried to kill everyone.

Jesus kid, have you ever seen The Shining? You're giving off some major Jack Torrance vibes in this photo. If it were me on the toilet, seeing this image through the door would've scared the crap out of me. Literally.

On the one hand, I can respect and appreciate the craftsmanship that went into this figure. However, on the other, there's no place anywhere in my home for a chilling baby alien statuette.

I don't even know what to say about this one.

I hope you have a priest's number on speed dial because judging from the photograph — this child needs an exorcism. I've got goosebumps from just looking at him.

Nanny cams can reveal a lot.

What in the unholy hell is going on here? There's no way that a kid this small should be able to hold his own weight up by its ankles, right? Is it awake; asleep? I have to know.

Those poor poor parents. When second, you're staring at a blank baby monitor. The next, Chucky is staring back at you wide-eyed with a look that screams "Hide the knives, I'm coming to kill you all."

Candyman, Candyman, Candyman, Candyman... Candyman.

Creepy school art project.
reddit | cherrythrow7

I get that some of the best art ever created is abstract, but how in the world would describe this piece? Whoever made it must've had a razor-sharp hook for a hand and a vanity problem — if you catch my drift.

Yes, it's a child wearing a bat-print morph suit.

Why does this exist and what were the parents thinking when they bought it? Furthermore, why is a child wearing it? This looks like a Halloween costume that only Bruce Wayne could love.
