Quotes About Siblings: It's Not All Fun And Games

Being a sibling is a blessing and a curse. For one, we love our siblings. Thinking about being an only child seems nice at times, but if we were all alone we would be the only ones getting in trouble with our parents and also be really lonely when we had to go to family gatherings. On the other hand, being a sibling is totally torturous because we have to share everything, from clothes to time to the TV remote.

Who wants to be the middle child?

Everyone has heard of middle child syndrome—you know, the syndrome where you become the "forgotten child." People gush about the baby of the family and respect the oldest, but that middle child? They are the lost brother no one remembers to pick up from the airport.

I'll fake it to make it.

Everyone with a sibling has gotten into a fight or five with them. And, when you get caught, mom and dad always want you to immediately kiss and make up. That seems to be easier said than done, and they will always go on and on until you figure out how to. So, we fake it just to make it through.

Now I have to share?!?

The last thing I ever want to do is share my food, especially with my siblings. I mean, when was the last time they shared something with me? They never want to give me anything—not a shirt, not a sip of their drink, not even a gift.

Siblings: you can't live with them, you can't live without them.

That's my quote for the day, in case you were wondering. It's not perfect, but it kind of sums it all up, wouldn't you agree?
