Celebrities are about as privileged as it gets.

Most have things we could only dream of, like million-dollar mansions, glam squads, and fat bank accounts. While there’s no problem with them having all this, there is a problem with their privilege showing.

That's when the world’s tiniest violin comes out. It's going to accompany this list of almost every time celebs were out of touch with how privileged they are.

Kelly Ripa

The world has little sympathy for the empty-nester when she made comments about her son moving on his own to Brooklyn. "He hates paying his own rent and he’s chronically poor,” she said on Jimmy Kimmel. “I don’t think he ever really experienced extreme poverty like now.”

Gwyneth Paltrow

The Iron Man star put her foot in her mouth when she dared to say that "regular" mothers do not have it easier than celeb moms. “I think to have a regular job and be a mom is not as, of course, there are challenges, but it’s not like being on set,” she boldly said.

Grimes

Money may have had something to do with the singer's split from Elon Musk. In an interview with Vanity Fair, she complained about how she and the billionaire lived in a "very insecure $40,000 house."

Gwyneth Paltrow

Despite her best intentions, Gwyneth totally missed the mark when she participated in a $49 food stamps weekly budget challenge. Unfortunately, she failed the challenge when she was photographed dining out at an L.A. restaurant.

Finneas

"'Shooting your shot' is promoted widely and I think honestly, it's a little overrated," the singer once tweeted. Unfortunately, he failed to realize that we're not all the kids of actors and musicians. AND the brother to Billie Eilish.

Chrissy Teigen

Anyone would be lucky with one pair of Air Pods, let alone several. That's why people were upset when the reality star tweeted that her mom treats Air Pods like they're "disposable," writing that she "buys a few a month."

Ben Stiller

The actor had some out-of-touch words when a journalist tweeted that Hollywood is full of nepotism. "People, working, creating. Everyone has their path. Wish them all the best," Stiller tweeted in response.

Ellen DeGeneres

The Covid-19 pandemic brought out the worst of some celebs. Like when Ellen DeGeneres was stuck in quarantine and complained about being "bored" in her mansion. The comments didn't sit well with those who were worrying about poverty and death.

Kendall Jenner

The model tripped over her words when she talked about her modeling career. “Since the beginning we’ve been super selective about what shows I would do," she told Love mag.

"I was never one of those girls who would do, like, 30 shows a season or whatever the [expletive] those girls do. More power to ‘em.”

Gal Gadot

Gal Gadot really thought she did something when she gathered 20 celebrities to sing "Imagine" by John Lennon. It was done as a way to inspire hope to those during the pandemic, but their privilege hit all the wrong notes.

James Charles

While it's good to value yourself, the beauty mogul was out of touch when he charged $500 for VIP tickets for his "Sisters Tour." Keep in mind that most of his fans are young. In now-deleted tweets, he tried to justify the price, which just made everything worse.

Vanessa Hudgens

The star got the internet in an uproar when she said in an Instagram video that coronavirus deaths are "terrible but inevitable." Yikes. She also said that being in lockdown "'til July sounds like a bunch of [expletive]. I'm sorry."

Addison Rae

No one was laughing when the TikTok star, joked, “I studied broadcast journalism in college for three months to prepare” to host a UFC fight." Some people study for years and never get the same opportunities.

Sam Smith

When Sam Smith posted the stages of them being bored during quarantine, people found it hard to sympathize with the star. After all, they were stuck in their $12 million home in London.

Dixie D'Amelio

While most people would do anything to be able to get into a good school and afford it, the TikTok star didn't think much about it.

In a video, she said that she "decided not to go" because traveling would be difficult and she couldn't handle the "embarrassment" of people playing her songs at a frat party.

Even though she knew it would be controversial, the model still threw a huge birthday party for herself during the 2020 pandemic.

While Kendall told her guests not to post photos due to fear of backlash, some leaked anyways.

Bella Hadid

People were saying "poor, little rich girl" when the model complained that her mom didn't buy her Louboutins until after she graduated from high school... People who grew up with barely enough food on the table found it hard to sympathize.

And finally, we come to Kim Kardashian who recently went viral for proving just how out of touch she is.

When asked by Variety to give her advice for women in business, she said, "Get your [expletive] ass up and work."
