Keanu Reeves's growing fame over the years past means that people have creates all sorts of roles that they believe would be perfect for him in their heads. One common thought that was shared among superhero fans was that the Matrix star would be a good Batman.

Well, their wish is coming true, just probably not how they were expecting it!

A rather unexpected trailer drop came from DC earlier.

A minute-long trailer posted to their Twitter account revealed the star-studded cast of the upcoming animated movie DC League of Super-Pets.

The movie features Batman and Superman in what appears to be a superhero rivalry, as well as each of them taking on a beloved pet dog.

We have Dwanye Johnson as Superman's dog, Krypto the Superdog, Kevin Hart as Ace the Bat-Hound, and John Krasinski as Superman.

Not to mention the best reveal in the trailer, Keanu Reeves will be playing Batman.

That fact alone as a ton of people extremely excited.

The sentiment in this tweet here has been echoed throughout many replies to DC's original reveal, with the news that Keanu will have his shot at playing Batman, albeit not in the way everyone necessarily wanted or expected, being the star of the trailer.

The movie does genuinely look funny otherwise, here's hoping it turns out great!
