Nowadays, it has become increasingly popular for people to wait to have children until long after their 20s to ensure their readiness, or simply just due to life circumstances. Either way, more power to them.

Even some celebrities are opting to wait as late as their 50s to have kids. Here are 15 of them:

The Sons of Anarchy actress married her second husband, Kurt Sutter, in 2004 and while she didn't anticipate having more children — as she already had two from her former marriage — she had a change of heart. The pair welcomed a daughter with the help of a surrogate in 2007 when Sagal was 52-years-old.

Mick Jagger did not wait until his 50s to start having children — he's been having them.

The 78-year-old musician is a father to eight children, the youngest of whom was born in 2016, when Jagger was 72-years-old.
