We all know that smoking is bad for us, but sometimes it's hard to see just how bad it really is. Wouldn't it be neat to see what you would look like if you were a smoker vs. if you weren't? You're in luck, sort of. A recent study compared identical twins, and showed just how different the one who smokes, or has been smoking longer looks from the other twin. It's incredible how different they look.
Can you guess which identical twin is the smoker?
Is it the twin on the left or on the right?
Both twins are actually smokers, but the twin on the left has been smoking 17 years longer than her identical twin. You can see that the twin who has been smoking longer has larger bags under her eyes and more lines around her lips.
Can you guess?
Actually, both of these brothers are smokers. However, the brother on the right has smoked for 14 years longer than his brother, which is why he appears much older.
Which twin is the smoker?
Did you guess the twin on the right? She's smoked for 16 years of her life and spends as much time as she can in the sun, whereas her twin looks at least 10 years younger since she never picked up smoking and stays as far away from the sun as she can.
