Call me Spoi-Boy McCoy, because I've got a hot steaming pile of spoilers ready to serve to anybody who hasn't seen the most recent episode of GoT.
Which, at time of writing, is Season 8, Episode 4: "The Last Of The Starks".
Like a 2016 Presidential election, this episode has divided a nation.
Half are blue wearing apologists who cry that the series hasn't been ruined, the other half are red wearing picky people who want everything to go right or they'll huff and they'll puff and they'll accuse the series of being racist.
I'm using a bit of hyperbole here for the sake of humor, but it was a divisive episode. We got to see Rhaegal and Missandei die, we got a Starbucks cameo and we're left with a promise of a big battle at King's Landing.
Yes, it seems people think that Jaimie is going to kill his sister/lover Cersei.
Some think it may be out of spite, or revenge, or maybe it'll be at the request of Brienne but no matter what, they think that this couple will do each other in.
Great couples we've gotten to see stay together forever. Arya and Gendry... oh wait, nevermind.
Well, how about Grey Worm and Missandei... oh no, not that one either.
Okay, but how about Ned and Catelyn Stark... alright, I'm going to stop there.
Sure, they had a rocky start, with the Khal treating her more like a mare than a wife, but eventually, they fell in love and his (kind of) death crushed us as much as it crushed her.
She had a fling with Daario Naharis, but then ditched him to go rule and is now flinging with Jon Snow, who turns out is her nephew. I'd say gross, but apparently, incest isn't that big of a deal in the Game Of Thrones universe.
However, we may not miss him for long! Emilia Clarke posted a picture of him and her on the set with Peter Dinklage, palling around, being cool. But why did she do this post?
You remember that cup I briefly mentioned?
The mess up that you couldn't have missed if you were on the internet from May 5th, 2019-May 9th, 2019?
Well, in the post she says: "Did I just stumble upon the truth here?! The cup bearer does not drinketh the Starbucks tea..."
And have been since they were Khal and Khaleesi on the show together. So it's very plausible he just stopped by to say hi to his old friend and ex onscreen lover.
Sure, she says that he's just coming around for a visit... but what if... he's going to make an appearance in Season 8?
Maybe he speaks with Daenerys or something?
He (or a fan account, rather) commented the fire and heart emoji like, four different times on the picture. People went nuts.
Let's just let them believe that the photo means more than it does.
Could Khal Drogo be gearing up for a guest spot in the final season? It would be a good send off for Daenerys if she meets her ex-husband in The Night Lands... just saying...
Do you think that Khal Drogo is going to make an appearance in Season 8? Maybe a dream sequence? Maybe a quick boink session between him and Daenerys to bring us back to a simpler time? Ah yes, that would be nice.
