This 'Game Of Thrones' Actor Hilariously Apologized For Killing Off His Co-Star

When it comes to Game of Thrones, we learned that nobody is safe from death.

During the last few episodes of the final season, we've been watching and waiting for the next major casualty, and boy, did we ever get it.

You wouldn't want this article around your food.

Because it's full of spoilers and you wouldn't want anything you wanted to eat to go bad. See what I did there? Pretty funny, right?

But seriously, there are going to be spoilers.

Spoilers for Season 4, Episode 8 of "Game Of Thrones"

HBO

If I'm being specific.

Day by day we get closer to the end of Game Of Thrones. So far, the Season has been hit and miss for people in general. I'll explain what I mean:

Episode 1: Metacritic Score- 7.0

HBO

Not bad, not bad at all. It is, in fact, an opening episode, so there isn't much to be expected here except maybe some re-introductions to where everyone is and where they might be going.

Episode 2: Metacritic Score- 7.7

HBO

The precursor to the Battle Of Winterfell. Everyone is hyped, we end the episode with the army of the dead about to reach the gates, nobody knows who's going to die, this is going to be a doozy, folks.

Episode 3: Metacritic Score- 4.4

HBO

Oof. People are, for the first time in Season 8, polarized by an episode. Some like how the Night King is destroyed, some hate how dumb and quick and easily he was dispatched.

Episode 4: Metacritic Score- 3.3

HBO

Wahh wahh. People are starting to throw around the words "Season 8 ruined Game Of Thrones".

There are some moments people despise. There are some deaths people hate. Namely, our buddy Rhaegal...

And our other buddy, Missandei.

HBO

Good old Missandei.

She starts out as a trusted handmaiden to Daenerys but meets an untimely end at the hands of the Mountain. You could say she really loses her head when she gets to King's Landing.

When she was killed, that's when some people completely lost faith in the series.

Accusations of racism have been flying around (jeez did I catch a lot of flak for that, I'm just reporting it guys) and even more accusations of "laziness" and "mismanagement" are floating in the ether.

Some were just incredibly sad.

HBO

That Grey Worm could never take her to the Isle of Naath to see the beaches, that we'll never get to see her beautiful, bouncy head grace us with its presence again... I'm not crying, you're crying!

However, some people are seeing the lighter side of things.

Specifically, the actor who plays Missandei's killer, The Mountain (Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson or Thor, for short), and Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel ) herself.

They are being cool about this whole thing.

Let's talk about these two.

IMDb

Outside of the show, Nathalie is an actress (obviously) who has appeared in movies like Furious 7 and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials.

Thor is a bodybuilder who is actually currently the strongest man in the world.

He also has a wicked sense of humor.

After he killed Missandei, he put a picture of him and Nathalie on Instagram.

He apologizes for killing her and swears he only did it because Cersei told him too. Not the best excuse, but still pretty funny.

Nathalie also had a great send off for her character.

I won't even try to summarize this beautiful passage that Ms. Emmanuel has for her character, but I'll tell you this: if you weren't a fan of hers to begin with, you will be after you read it.

So there, maybe don't get too serious about it.

Because obviously, the actors aren't too beat up about it. They all know that their time is coming... it is the Game Of Thrones.

Either you win, or you die.

What do you think?

With only two more episodes left in the series, who is going to find themselves on the chopping block next? Let us know your thoughts!
