Meeting potential partners has largely moved onto the apps. While there are still instances of meeting people IRL, Tinder, Hinge, and Bumble are doing the heavy lifting these days. It can be a little strange, but it's the way things are now.

Facebook is deciding to get in on the dating app game, and is working to add a new Secret Crush element to the social media site. "Facebook Dating" isn't available in the United States yet. However, my thirsty friends, it is on the way.

With this new feature, you will be able to add nine of your Facebook friends as your "secret crush," even if they don't use Facebook Dating.

If they also choose you as a "secret crush," you will both receive a notification. The actual date making is up to you, but this is definitely another push to get you going.

Facebook Dating is a part of the Facebook app, allowing you to opt in and create a separate profile specifically for dating. As I said, it's not quite made it to America yet, but keep an eye out. You will soon have another app to be ghosted on.
