It's safe to say that after Aquaman was a smash hit, Jason Momoa is kind of a big deal. While the actor has been steadily working for years, his turn as Arthur Curry vaulted him to the A-list.

While his role in the DC Universe is cemented, Momoa is also working to expand his non-superhero career as well. He seems pretty dedicated to choosing interesting projects, like Netflix's Frontier and the upcoming adaptation of Dune.

Momoa was also a part of the rollout​ for the new Apple TV+ streaming service. They revealed a slate of original programming​ launching in the fall, including his dystopian series called See.

A Terrifying New Dystopia

Described as an "epic, world-building drama set in the future," See sounds like the latest sci-fi series that everyone will be obsessed with when it drops. According to Deadline:

"See is set in a future when the human race has lost the sense of sight, and society has had to find new ways to interact, to build, to hunt, to survive. All of that is challenged when a set of twins with sight is born."

While Momoa himself is a huge draw, he's hardly the only talent involved. Veteran actress Alfre Woodard is also costarring, and Catching Fire's Francis Lawrence is directing. Additionally, Steven Knight, creator of the critically acclaimed Peaky Blinders, will be writing See.
