14+ Celebrity Couples Who Surprisingly Met On Blind Dates

Picture this: you're single. You're not overly interested in still being single, so one of your friends sets you up on a blind date. You get there...and your blind date is Prince Harry.

Or Khloe Kardashian. Salma Hayek. Imagine being set up with a celebrity, and you actually hit it off.

Well, that's what happened with these couples, and the stories are absolutely adorable.

Khloé Kardashian and TRAITOR Tristan Thompson

I know none of us are speaking to Tristan right now (ugh), but I can't not include them on this list.

After all, they did meet on a blind date set up by their mutual friend. They didn't even have time to google each other before they did!

The two have a child together now, True, and I hope Khloé gets full custody of her! Thanks.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen

I must be living under a rock, because I had no idea these two were together. And the story of how they met is perfect rom-com material:

After two failed blind dates, Gisele decided to give her third one a chance — but only a small one, in the form of casual drinks.

Guess who she got set up with? Yup, Tom Brady.

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake

Less blind, but definitely pretty cute: Justin and Jessica were introduced by a mutual friend, and Justin liked her right away.

Before he could ask her out, though, he called his friend up to ask if it was okay to ask her out. Their friend then asked Jessica also said he could ask.

This is so adorable and old-fashioned.

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski

These two creative icons had no idea what was in store for them when Anne Hathaway randomly introduced them in 2008.

Ten years and two kids later, the two's collaboration on Krasinski's incredible A Quiet Place netted Blunt a Screen Actor's Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role.

Power. Couple.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton

I'll take people I fully did not know were a couple for 200, Alex.

Not only did Jeffrey and Hilarie meet on a blind date, but they were also set up by Supernatural star, Jensen Ackles.

They now have two children together, and my mind is blown.

Salma Hayek and François-Henri Pinault

This blind date was not a welcome one for Salma Hayek. Even though her friends thought they knew better, Salma was not on board meeting a stranger. So...they tricked her.

Salma thought she was attending an event. François thought she knew she was only meeting him. Even though she was mad, she went on the date...and they lived happily ever after.

Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman

Around the same time Anne Hathaway was playing matchmaker with John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, her friends were playing matchmaker for her.

A mutual friend set she and Adam Shulman up, and they immediately hit it off. They now have one child together.

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris

Okay, yes, they broke up, but hear me out: imagine going on a blind date with Taylor Swift. That's dope.

The two's mutual friend, Ellie Goulding, actually set them up with each other. Though it didn't last, the star power those three emanate makes them list-worthy for sure.

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston

Though it was ultimately destined for divorce, the beginning of Brad and Jen's whirlwind romance was actually a blind date!

According to The New York Daily News, the two were set up by their agents. They would eventually split when Brad cheated on Jen with Angelina Jolie.

She deserved better, anyway.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Believe it or not, but this royal match really was a blind date. A friend of Meghan's and Harry's suggested that they meet, and neither had any idea who the other was before they met up.

The only thing Meghan asked? "Is he nice?" I'm gonna go ahead and say yeah, he was nice.

Josh Groban and Kat Dennings

I'm so sad this relationship didn't work out, because they're both so wonderfully weird.

Dennings' co-star on 2 Broke Girls introduced the two. She and Groban had been friends for years, and knew they were perfect for each other. Ugh.

Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky

So, what would you do if one of your friends set you up with Thor? Marry him, duh.

That's exactly what Elsa Pataky did after being sent on a blind date with Chris Hemsworth. According to him, he knew she was the one immediately.

Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara

What do you get when you combine a pop sensation with a former Spy Kid? Apparently, the perfect couple.

They have Chloë Grace Moretz to thank for their setup, as Meghan had asked the actress if she knew any single dudes. Luckily, she definitely did.

The two were married in 2018.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds

Everyone's favorite couple met almost by accident...because they were on a double date.

With other people.

Oops!

The two quickly realized that there was something there, which made things awkward at the table.

Luckily, we know everything worked out just fine.

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux

Blind dates seem to be good luck for Jen. After her split from Brad, she was set up on a blind date with Justin Theroux.

The kicker? The two had already met! Robert Downey Jr introduced the two on the set of Tropic Thunder, which Theroux wrote.

Even though their relationship ended in divorce, they're still on good terms.

Jon Stewart and Tracey Stewart

Hi, this is the dream scenario. When Tracey told her friends that the kind of guy she'd like to be set up with was a Jon Stewart type, they went ahead and set her up with Jon Stewart himself.

Tracey, you are a hero to us all.

Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber

Well, it was blind for one of them, anyway. At the time that the two were set up, Rande knew exactly who Cindy Crawford was. She's an international supermodel, after all.

Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden

Combining a Charlie's Angel with Good Charlotte was not something anyone saw coming, but it ended happily ever after.

Cameron and Benji met at a dinner party and hit it off, eventually getting married in their living room. We love a chill couple.

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick

The tumultuous couple were introduced in the master bedroom of the Girls Gone Wild founder in Mexico. 100% of that sentence is true.

The two have three children together, but are split up. Scott still appears on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, because they're all still friends.

Even though Scott is literally dating a teenager. (Sorry, she turned 20 in August, so a recently teenaged woman.)

I can't keep track of any of it, either.

Lauren Conrad and William Tell

Another rom-com in the making: the adorableness of Lauren Conrad's story with William Tell. She first saw him when she was 16 while she was at one of his concerts.

Fast forward ten years and one reality show later, and the two were set up on a blind date with each other. Awww.

Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff

Rewind back to 2012: Comedian Mike Birbiglia decided that he knew exactly the right person for his friend, Jack Antonoff: Lena Dunham.

Their first date was a huge success, but the two eventually split after five years together.

Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara

The most beautiful couple in the entire world (I will not be taking other suggestions at this time, because I know I'm right) met blindly at a party held by Vergara's Modern Family co-star, Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

He even gave Joe her number — after she said no, and then yes. Thank god she said yes, because now they're married and still beautiful.

Pete Sampras and Bridgette Wilson

After spotting her across the room at a movie, tennis player Pete Sampras knew he had to know actress Bridgette Wilson. His friend got her number from a mutual friend and set them up.

Courtney Cox and Johnny McDaid

Hey, can you imagine being friends with Ed Sheeran, and your friend Ed Sheeran is like, "I know the perfect girl for you," and then your friend Ed Sheeran sets you up with frickin' Courtney Cox?

Johnny McDaid got to live that. He and Courtney were engaged in 2014, broke up, got back together, and have stuck together ever since.

Also, please look at this picture of Courtney and Ed. Thanks.
