13+ Bad Christmas Designs That Belong On The Naughty List

Christmas is that time of year when stores are filled with decorations and gifts. Because of the high demand for these products, it makes sense that a few designers take some creative liberties. Or, maybe these are just straight up fails. Who's to say?

One thing that's for sure, is that these terrible Christmas designs will give you a chuckle or two. At least they're better than a lump of coal, right?

This wonky Christmas tree.

Reddit | TheFloatingContinent

It kind of looks like the shape a balloon makes when it's deflating. I think they were trying to do something whimsical and unique, but sometimes it's better to just stick to what works.

Someone doesn't know what a dog looks like.

Reddit | AsRiversRunRed

If you're not a pet person, this is an easy mistake anyone could make. Cats? Dogs? Who cares? They both have four legs and a tail, don't they?

This terrifying angel.

Reddit | jcal93

I've been staring at this thing for five minutes and I still can't tell if it's supposed to be a child or an old lady. If anyone figures it out, please tell me.

The Olaf of our nightmares.

Reddit | payinthefidlr

The candy cane nose is bad enough, but was it really necessary to make his eyes red, too? It looks like Olaf was possessed by a Christmas demon.

Apparently, this is a tree.

Reddit | maxt0r

I know what you're thinking. It looks like a certain brown emoji. I think it's supposed to be a tree. Or Christmas pudding? Time to fire the designer who came up with this.

Someone was confused about reindeer anatomy.

Reddit | EndlessDaydreamer

I know reindeer are strange creatures, but their antlers don't shoot out from their eyes. The image of these unfortunate reindeer is going to haunt my dreams.

Watch your fonts.

Reddit | ehanu_rehu

Funny how a poorly placed letter or font choice can change the whole meaning of a design. This design put an image in my mind that I could have gone without imagining, thank you very much.

What is with these terrifying Santas?

Reddit | mrswissmiss

This kind of looks like some sort of appetizer that was dropped on the floor. Warning: Do not eat this. It's actually soap.

Santa, what's wrong with your hat?

Reddit | Ender0595

It kind of looks like Santa has an arm growing out of this head. Apparently, it's supposed to be a hat but I've never seen a hat that looks like that before.

Someone doesn't know what a Christmas tree looks like.

Reddit | Sblumy

There's nothing worse than having your expectations be crushed by what reality presents to you. This "Christmas tree" looks like a literal lump of coal. Bah-humbug.

These feisty polar bears.

Reddit | LnrdToxic

I know this looks like a scene from a National Geographic nature show, but I firmly believe that this was an innocent design that never saw a critical eye. It's still cute, right?

This very odd candleholder.

Reddit | DaQueenOfEngland

There are two things we need to address here. One is that Frosty is literally pole-dancing. The second is that the melted, red candle wax makes this look like a scene from CSI. There's just too much going on for one bad design in this photo.

A clean-shaven Santa with... chest hair?

Reddit | DILesleyJones

Maybe this is supposed to be the image of Santa in his youth. Instead of a beard, he rocked chest hair that was long enough to braid. Ugh, that's a weird thought.

I had to do a double-take on this one.

Reddit | mickeythegypsy

At first glance, I thought there was an image of a skull in the bowl. Then I saw that they were actually birds. Sometimes you need to take a closer look before jumping to conclusions.

Nooooooooo, Santa.

Reddit | Brexit-1

Seriously, how does this happen? If anyone is traumatized after reading this article, I sincerely apologize. Actually, the longer you look at it, the funnier it gets.

This poorly thought out poster.

Reddit | terraclara

Santa? Good. Pancakes? Good. Placing them in such a way that looks like Santa is tinkling on the pancake stack? That's bad. Really, really bad.
